BETTY HAGLER BYRNES Age 82, passed away Thurs. 1/6/20100 in Riverside after a long illness.
She was a proud third generation Californian born to Lisle and Gladys(Hinds) Hagler in Visalia, CA on February 14, 1928.
Betty attended Packwood School in rural Visalia graduating from Visalia Union High School in 1945.
She married David in 1946. In 1969 Betty and David moved from Visalia to Riverside and established the Byrnes Company, a local graphic arts and typesetting business. She was active in the Newcomer's Club as well as Soroptimist International, for which she served as president of the Riverside chapter for two terms and member of its Board of Directors for many years. She was an avid and accomplished cook, even featured in the Press Enterprise Cook and Tell section April 1983.
She is survived by her loving husband, David and their six daughters: Kathleen Tucker (Mike), Victoria Long (Buck), Leslie Vasquez (Ed), Patricia Allen (Duane), Roberta Fuhr (Jay) and Andrea Cedergreen (Rich). In addition, Betty was grandmother to eleven and great-grandmother to five. The family would like to thank Partners N Care for making the last two years of her life not only comfortable but joyful and full of love. Betty was a wonderful wife, mother and friend who will be missed by many.
