Funeral services for William Mason Bird were held from his late residence near Pulaski Iron Company Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. Rev R.D. White, pastor of the Baptist church conducted the services. Interment was in Thornspring cemetery, kinsmen of the deceased acting as pallbearers.
Mr. Bird is survived by a wife and three children.
He was born June 25, 1887, making him 36 years, 2 months, and 9 days old at the time of his death.
He was popular among a host of friends here whose sympathy is extended to the bereaved family.

William M. Byrd, whose death was noted in connection with the accident at the Pulaski Iron Company furnace last week was survived by a number of relatives.
Besides his widow and three children, Robert S., Walter M., and Mary Sue, there are his father, J.S. Byrd of Roanoke, and the following brothers and sisters: G.W. and J.T. Byrd of Radford; J.B. Byrd, US Army; Mrs. L.J. Myers of Powhatson, W.Va.; Mrs. C.W. Myers of Radford; Mrs. W.R. Leake of Richmond; and Mrs. G.T. Bayse of Pulaski.
