Husband,Joel Pinkney was b.1842/3 in Ga. and d. 1892 in Conway Co., Ar. He m.15 Oct 1889 Nancy Adeline Bynum b. 1851/54. He is said to have been a Confederate soldier in the Army of Tenn. and to have had a finger shot off by a Yankee mimiball though he is not listed in the Consolidated index of Civil War Soldiers. they moved to Arkansas in 1882, but never bought land there and he worked as a farm laborer. Nancy Adeline was sitting on a bed, nursing her son Joseph, when she fell back dead of a massive stroke or heart attack. He is bur. Kilgore Cem., Birdtown, Ar and she is bur.
