Mrs. Benson died yesterday in her home at 2100 Marshall Way after a lengthy illness. She was 67.
She was a native of Iowa and had lived in Sacramento for 21 years.
Mrs. Benson was a private instructor of the piano. She graduated from the University of Nebraska, majoring in piano and voice, and had taught piano for 35 years.
She was a member of the Friday Study Club and the First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Benson is survived by her husband Arthur C., a vault officer of the State of California; daughters, Lorene Iacopi of Inglewood and Maxine Hannifin of Lafayette, La. and five grandchildren.
Interment will be at East Lawn Cemetery.
