Beulah Huxtable was born September 15, 1913 near Harrisburg, SD. She grew up on the family farm south of Harrisburg.
On June 26, 1933, she was united in marriage with Delbert Buttz in Sioux Falls, SD. The couple lived most of their married life in Sioux Falls. Her husband preceded her in death on October 5th, 1993.
Bobbie loved her family and cherished times spent with her grandchildren and great granddaughter. She cared for granddaughters Tamee and Shelie before they started school. Bobbie was a caregiver, caring for her husband for 30 years who suffered from Parkinson's disease.
Bobbie was one of the original members of Our Saviors Lutheran Church. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and summers spent in the Black Hills. Bobbie played in many women's bowling leagues, one with niece Betty Wood.
Grateful for having shared her life are her daughter, Vikki (Lyle) Farrand of Sioux Falls, SD; her granddaughters, Tamee (Keith) Sandvall and Shelie Farrand and special friend Travis Vacek, all of Sioux Falls; and her great granddaughter, Jada Sandvall. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Clarence Huxtable; and two sisters, Gladys Merrill and Irene Swisher.
