"At her home, 61 Cortland Street, Saturday morning, occurred the death of Mrs. Phidelia Barr, widow of the late Aaron Deloss Barr, aged 89 years. Deceased has been a resident of this city for the past 40 years. She was born in the town of Pharsalia, and as a prominent member of the Methodist Church. Her life for the past ten years has been that of a widow, but her cheerful disposition and loving nature leave hundreds of friends to mourn her loss.
