Gaye Francine “Fran” Butt 69, of Ft. Myers, FL died January 2, 2015 at Hope Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer. Fran had been a resident of Ft. Myers for the past two years coming from Coram, NY. She was born December 13, 1945 in Bayshore, NY the only child of Frank and Esther (née Hoover) McCourt.
Fran was a homemaker that had a distinct passion for shopping. She was a loving wife, mother and devoted grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Gary L. Butt of Ft. Myers, FL; two daughters, Michelle L. (James) Bogliole of Cape Coral, FL and Kimberly (Philip) Lane of Tennessee and 4 grandchildren, Amber Bogliole, Alexa Bogliole, Audrey Lane and Kerriann Lane.
Services for Fran are pending and will be announced at a late date.
