Betty J. Butler-Berry was born in Auburn, Alabama to Lorraine Johnson and Willie Butler on August 1, 1945. Her early years were spent in Auburn, Alabama and Vallejo, California. Betty moved to Detroit, Michigan in the late 1970's with her children.

Betty received her education in the Oakland, California School System. She graduated from Oakland Technical High School in 1962. From there, she attended Alameda Community College in Alameda, California and received an Associate Degree. She was employed at Treasure Island Naval Base in San Francisco, California in the Food Service Department for 16 years. In 1980 Betty began working at the Detroit Public Schools system as a cafeteria manager, serving there for 33 years and retired in 2008.

Betty was united in holy matrimony on April 5, 1999 in Reno, Nevada to Glynn Berry.
Betty Berry heard the invitation from Martha Jean "The Queen" Steinberg on the radio and received the Holy Inspired Teachings of The Order of the Fishermen Ministry on October 22, 1982. Daughter of Zion "High Consciousness" Betty Berry was baptized on August 5, 1984 at Belle Isle Beach in Detroit, Michigan. Daughter of Zion "High Consciousness" Betty became an active member of the Home of Love, serving faithfully on the Jesus' Servants Committee and the Inspiration Committee. She was a Queen's Community Workers Inspiration Time Prayer Session in the Homes Prayer Therapist.

On Friday, June 28, 2013 at 4:00 p.m., Daughter of Zion "High Consciousness" Betty Berry said "YES" and agreed with the Will of the Father to evolve to another plane of life. On Monday, July 1, 2013 at 11:40 a.m. at O. H. Pye III Funeral Home, Daughter of Zion "High Consciousness"Betty Berry was anointed by Fisherman Earl "Doc" Savage and was assisted by Fisherman Robert "Uncle Bob" Martin and Fisherman Louise "Weezie" Marsh during our T.O.F.M. 72 Hour Observance.
