Bess Butler Boulton , 91, of Carrollton, died Sunday at Tri-County Baptist Hospital, LaGrange. She was the retired owner of Powder Puff Beauty Salon and Be-Leah Shop, both in Carrollton, and a former president of the Carrollton Women's Club. She was a member of Carrollton Christian Church, the Democratic Women's Club, and Port William Historical Society. Her husband, Warren P. Boulton, died in 1962.
Survivors include a son, William O. Boulton of Carrollton; a sister, Bertha Orr of Owenton; a half-sister, Nell B. McDarment of Louisville; a stepsister, Mattie Malcomb of Wheatley; three grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, Carrollton. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ghent Masonic Cemetery. ************************* Bess Butler was the daughter of Omar Butler and Cora B. Bersot.
