Thelma B. Bazemore
Savannah - Thelma Butler Bazemore, 83, died on Sunday, November 28, 2004 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
Born in Evans County, Mrs. Bazemore had lived in Savannah for the past sixty-five years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Garden City where she attended the Libby Tyner Sunday School Class.
Mrs. Bazemore was preceded in death by her first husband, Wallace L. Butler, Sr., and her second husband, Silas Bazemore.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Zella Mae and Jessie Waters of Savannah; son, Wallace Butler of Hardeeville, SC; step-son, George Bazemore of Guyton; brother, LeRoy Ricord of Savannah; five grandchildren;
two step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. on Wednesday in the Chapel of the funeral home.
Interment: Gravel Hill Cemetery.
