Mildred S. "Mill" Butler, a resident of Brusly and a native of Addis, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2007, at the age of 58. She was employed by Holiday Inn South for 27 years as a housekeeper. She was a 1967 graduate of Cohn High School.

She is survived by her three daughters, Demetris, Shamika and Casandra Butler, all of Brusly; son, Christopher Butler, Brusly; four grandchildren, Demeisha Butler, Taylor Shaw, Ziyon Butler and Reagan Richards, all of Brusly; sister, Ellouise Stewart, Plaquemine; and two brothers, Thomas Snearl, Plaquemine, and the Rev. Lawrence Snearl, Austin, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Arcola Henderson Snearl; a sister and seven brothers.

The family would like to take the opportunity to express their appreciation for all the kind thoughts and deeds during her illness and loss of our loved one.
