Fairmount - Frank D. Butcher, 81, 910 N. Rush St., Fairmount, died at 5 a.m. Sunday at Anderson Community Hospital.
Born in Hartford City, Mr. Butcher spent most of his life in Fairmount. A retired farmer, he attended the Fairmount Baptist Church, was a member of the Fairmount American Legion, and was a World War I veteran.
Surviving is a brother, Gola, Fairmount.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Nolder Memorial Chapel with the Rev. James Lund officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Gas City.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
