Funeral services for Audrey Jo BUTCHER, 79, of Muldrow, were held 10 a.m. Friday, at the Eastside Freewill Baptist Church in Muldrow, with the Rev. Ken Wolfe and Mr. Charles Comstock officiating. Burial was in the Blackjack Cemetery Northeast of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. BUTCHER was born August 31, 1921, in Muldrow, to Ivey James GREEN and Nora Maye (SMITH) GREEN. She died Tuesday, July 4, 2001, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Walter "Junior" Virgil BUTCHER, Jr. on May 27, 1939, in Moffett. He preceded her in death on June 29, 1998. Survivors include three daughters and son-in-laws, Shirley and David , Sandra and Doyle and Gwenda and Charles; two sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie and Peggy and Elton and Donna ; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Doris; and one brother, Fred. Mrs. BUTCHER was also preceded in death by one grandson, Jerry David FRY.
Audrey is my father's 1st cousin-in-law.
