Adelia, a lifelong resident of Fairview, passed away at St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe. She was survived by two daughters: Virginia Luján of Santa Fe and Evangeline Vigil of Las Vegas, Nevada; two sons: Ramón N. Alarid of the home and Louie Alarid of Fairview; two sisters: Susie Quintana of Sombrillo and Porfiria Bustos of Sacramento, California; five grandchildren; and many other relatives.

Funeral services were held 31 Aug 1983 at the Holy Cross Church in Santa Cruz. Burial followed in Santa Cruz Catholic Cemetery.
