Services for Mrs. Jack Black, 67, were held in the First Christian Church officiated by Rev. A.J. Morgan and Amos Myers.
Mrs. Black died following a long illness.
Survived by her father - S. Bush of Breckenridge; two sons - Jack and Bill Black of Breckenridge; one daughter - Mrs. Mildred Johnson of Dallas.
Mrs. Black was a member of the Christian Church.
She and Mr. Jack Black were married 25 December 1900 and made their home in Stephens County where Mr. Black was engaged in ranching. Mr. Black was prominent in civic affairs and was associated with First National Bank in Breckenridge.
Mr. and Mrs. Black moved to Pomona, California in 1921 where Mr. Black assumed a responsible position with the American national Bank.
Mrs. Black continued her residence at Pamona after the death of her husband. She returned to Texas for medical attention.
