Mrs. Busby Dies Sunday
Services for Mrs. Bessie Busby, 79, of route 2, Davis, were Tuesday afternoon in the Pentecostal Holiness church with Rev. Archie Beller and Rev. M. L. Jernigan officiating. Bahner Funeral Home was in charge of burial in Green Hill cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ruben Cash, Buck Wilson, James Busby, jr., Edward Ray Busby, Willie Joe Busby and Paul DeLay Busby.
Mrs. Busby died Mar. 17 in Ardmore Osteopathic hospital. She was born Apr. 17, 1888, in Mesquite, Tex., and had lived near Davis since 1914. Her husband, J. S. Busby, died Mar. 1.
Survivors are a daughter, Miss Ruth Lucille Busby of the home, three sons, Paul of route 2, Davis, Cecil of Dougherty and James C. of Davis; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
