There was nothing more important to Charles than his family and his love for God's word. You could often find Papaw sitting quietly reading his Bible. He will always be remembered for his faith in God and excitement for the soon coming Kingdom, his selflessness towards others, his never-ending love for Blue Bell ice cream, and his overflowing "fountain of wisdom and advice."
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia Busby; and grandson, "Charlie" Busby III.
Charles is survived by his children, Mike Busby and wife Kathy; Bruce Busby and Allison Osborne; his grandchildren, two of which he raised as his own, Heather Hess and husband David, Jacob Stephenson, Leah Wolfe and husband Jeremy, Jesse Osborne, Jonathan Busby, Anna Guthrie and husband Kevin; and his greatest joy, his 8 great-grandchildren, Simeon, Phillip, Shae, Skylar, Shelby, Seth, Jack and Hank who were dearly loved by their Papaw.
