Kim Yvette Burton Stables, 51 of Narrows passed away at her home on Saturday, August 18th, 2012.
A lifelong resident of Giles County, she was born on May 24th, 1961 and was the daughter of the late George Pembroke Burton and Mary Lou Fisher Webster. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by a very special granddaughter, Karley Y. Mills; and her grandparents, Preston and Bernice Fisher.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Kim will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Stables; children, Jamie Burton and wife Kana, Brandy Palmer and husband Shawn; a brother, Brian Burton; grandchildren, McKayla Burton, Mackenzie Burton, Kiera Burton, Emerald Palmer, Seth Palmer, and many special friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 22nd, 2012 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Riffe's Funeral Service in Narrows. Burial will follow in Angels Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Riffe's Funeral Chapel Wednesday from 12 noon until just prior to the service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be sent to Riffe's Funeral Service; 600 Main Street; Narrows, VA 24124; to cover Kim's final expenses.
