William L. (Bill) Burton, 89, died Tuesday, April 15, 1998 in Riverton.

He was born August 26, 1908 in Erick, Oklahoma, to James F. and Susan Q. Gibson Burton. He married Una Vivian Bryan, December 3, 1928 in Bethany, Oklahoma. She died June 17, 1997.

Survivors include one son, Fred J. (MaryAnn) Burton; daughters, Billie Jean Fletcher (Robert) Myers; Janice Marion (Lynn) Frandsen; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Milton Burton and Dr. Leonard (Marge) Burton; sister, Geneva (Winsel) Young. He was preceded in death by three grandchildren.

His occupational pursuits were dairy and poultry farmer, owner of an auto and transfer dealership, motel owner, and apartment house owner. He enjoyed being in business.

Funeral service will be conducted Monday, April 20, 1998 at 11 a.m. in the Redwood Memorial Chapel, 6500 S. Redwood Rd., where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
