LADY LAKE — A. Winona Burris, 89, died on Monday, April 22, 2013.
Mrs. Burris was born in Greenfield, IL, and moved to Lady Lake in 1985 from Springfield, IL.
She was a retired secretary for the Illinois Department of Agriculture and a member of Community United Methodist Church of Fruitland Park.
Survivors include a daughter, Beth Taylor, Lady Lake; son, Roger, Tulsa, OK; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, at the Lady Lake Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 3 p.m. with Pastor Mike Fordham officiating.
Interment will be at a later date at White Hall Cemetery, White Hall, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community United Methodist Church, 309 College Ave., Fruitland Park, FL 34731, or a charity of the donor's choice.
Arrangements are by Beyers Funeral Home and Crematory, Lady Lake.
