Aneursym kills Johnstown councilman
Johnstown, Ohio - Bob Burell, a burly home builder with a big heart, was always willing to help othes, Johnstown Village Manager Sarah Phillips said yesterday.
Burrell, 54, a two-term village councilman, died Wednesday at Mount Carmel East hospital from an aneursym in his stomach, Phillips said.
"It was very sudden," she said of his death." He was very easy to talk to and was always willing to listen and help where he could."

A funeral service for Burrell, who also served as mayor in 2002 and 2003 of this Licking County village about 25 miles northeast of Columbus, is scheduled for next week.
The Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home in Johnstown is handling arrangements. Services are planned for 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Burrell, a Johnstown native and self-employed home builder, was first elected to the council in 2000. He was re-elected in 2004.
"His term was going to expire in December. He had talked about running again," Phillips said.
The village council has 30 days in which to appoint a replacement, or the mayor will make an appointment. Candidates for the post would run for election in November.
