Services Held here Sunday for Albert Burr, Native Resident of Coburg Vicinity
75 Years on Same Farm
Funeral services for Albert LaMott Burr, 73, who died at his farm home east of Coburg Friday afternoon from heart trouble, after a two week illness, were held Sunday afternoon from the Perryman funeral chapel in charge of Rev O. W. Morrow, of the Red Oak Methodist church. Pallbearers were A.W Foust, Wm Erickson, Chas E. Youngberg, John Dukeshire, Aaron Nelson, and Frank McGreer. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr Burr spent his whole life on the farm where he died, having been born there March 26, 1861, the son of Joseph and Wilhelmina Burr. He was married on Jan 30, 1890 at Ong, Neb to Helen Ekdahl, and to them were born six children, all of whom survive him along with their mother. The children were Elmer F. Burr of Monticello; Mrs Lon Hunt, of Imogene; Mrs Glenn Klepinger, of Essex; Mrs Chas Waltz, of Coin: and Mrs Raymond Carlson of Red Oak. Also Surviving him are one sister Mrs Louisa Lewis of Essex, one brother Ernest Burr, of Idaho, and 15 grandchildren.
