DAVIS WOMAN DIES SUNDAY
Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Marie Burnside, 41, were held Tuesday, Jan. 26, in the First Methodist church. Officiating were Rev. Charles E. Hoole of Norman and Rev. Jack Burton, pastor. Interment was in Green Hill cemetery under the direction of Bahner Funeral Home.
Mrs. Burnside died early Sunday morning at her home. She had lived in or around Davis all her life. She was born June 20, 1923, at Katie. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors include her husband, Ransel J. Burnside of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Jerry Hefley of Davis and Rhonda Jean Burnside of the home; one son, Dickie Burnside of Warren AFB, Cheyenne, Wyo.; her mother, Mrs. Ella Williams of Davis; four sisters, Mrs. Vera McCaskill and Mrs. Mary Albia Hill of Davis, Mrs. Anna Shields of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Wahneice Snider of Mansfield Tex.; and three brothers, Ed Phillips of Davis, Evert Phillips of Lookeba, and Roy Phillips of Pittsburg, Calif.
Pallbearers were Guy Palmer, Howard Hefley, Lloyd Eaves, Joe Primrose, George McFarland, and Grady Kenney.
