PEMBROKE, Ga., Dec 4 –
Henry Charlton Burnsed, 73, died today, at his home near Ellabell after a long illness. He was a retired farmer, a native of Bulloch County, who had lived in Bryan for 18 years.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ida Neal Burnsed; two daughters, Mrs. Florence Shuman of Ellabell and Mrs. J. A. Shuman of Stilson; three sons, H. C. Burnsed, Jr., of Statesboro, w. C. Burnsed of Ellabell, and H. K, Burnsed of Jacksonville, Fla.; seventeen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. E. L. Newman, Mrs. Clara Glisson and Mrs. Anna Stevens, all of Savannah.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Lower Black Creek Church, conducted by Elder J. Q. Boyette and Elder Ivey Spivey.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Leon Shuman, Kenneth Shuman, Rodney Burnsed, Quinton Shuman, Paschal Burnsed, Alwyn Burnsed.

Honorary will be C. L. Purvis, W. R. Deal, W. K. Smith, R. L. Lane, U. J. Bacon, H. D. Warnell, D. E. Medders, Truman Stubbs, H. L. Downs, L. P. Summerford, Ivey Smith, Wallace Dowd, C. B. DeLoach, Joe Pope, Rall Newman, Ben Edwards, W. B. Coney, Franklin Waller, Henry Moore, Bill Shuman, J. Q. Harmon and A. O. Smith.
