Sharon Gail (Jourdain) Burns, age 66, died on Monday, April 7, 2014 surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer at the Holyoke Healthcare Center. She was born in Holyoke on December 29, 1947 and graduated from Holyoke Catholic High School. She leaves behind her children, Joseph(Jenifer) Jourdain of Jefferson, MA; Beverly Viamari of Holyoke; Dale Burns and Scott Burns both of Springfield. Her brothers Richard (Jeanne) Jourdain of Holyoke; Peter(Carol) Jourdain of Whitewater, WI and sisters Nancy Jourdain and Katherine Jourdain both of Holyoke, Beatrice (Paul) McCallister of Clinton, MI; Ida(Dale)Harris of Mederia Beach, FL. Her beloved grandchildren Gino Sam and Randall of South Hadley, MA and Luc and Alexander of Jefferson, MA. And many neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Albert & Beatrice Jourdain; and her sister Judith Jourdain. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke. Burial will follow in St. Jerome Cemetery.
