Mr. Burns owned and operated a café in Benton MO for many years. He was also a member of Cathedral Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his cousins, Kenneth Burns, Bill Burns, Joe Burns, Cathy Hudson, and Howard Burns; an aunt, Olivia Dennis; and friend, Chris Haag.
Graveside funeral services were held at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Cooter, MO, under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
