The funeral service for James Walter Burns 81 who died Sunday was held this morning at Lang's Chapel 1103 32nd Ave Gulfport with the Rev H. J. Rushing pastor of Grace Memorial Baptist Church and the Rev. P. S. Dodge pastor of Turkey Creek Baptist Chapel officiating
Mrs 0. H. Burns played as the organ prelude Abide With Me and as the postlude Safe In the Arms of Jesus. She accompanied Mrs Sally Ana Runt who sang Beyond the Sunset
Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery with Clifton Burns, Fred Nix Roger Burns, Lewis E. Marshall, Roy Salley and George Burns as pallbearers.
