Shirley Vance Burns, 74, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008.
Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Aldersgate United Methodist Church. Interment: Monday in Moore Memorial Gardens.
Memorials: Memorial Fund at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 2201 E. Park Row, Arlington, Texas 76010.
Shirley was born Feb. 1, 1934, to Naoma and Thurman Rogers. She was a very active member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and a member of Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors: Husband of 55 years, Charles L. Burns; son, Roy L. Burns and wife, Emilie; grandsons, Nick and Tony Burns; and her church fellowship.
