Ruby B. Brooke, 76, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on April 8, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur S. Jr.
She is survived by three sons, Steven Brooke, Michael Brooke and Christopher Brooke; two grandchildren, Stephanie Gasparovic and Evelyn Brooke; and one great- granddaughter, Milena Gasparovic. She is also survived by her sisters, Edna Woodson and Gladys Jamison; two brothers, Daniel Burnette and Walter Burnette; and her aunt, Bertha Burke.
She was a member of Chamberlayne Heights United Methodist Church. She devoted her life to caring for her son, Chris, and husband.
There will be visitation on Sunday, April 10, 2011, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Atlee Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 9271 Shady Grove Road, Mechanicsville.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 11, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Chamberlayne Heights United Methodist Church, 6100 Chamberlayne Road, Richmond, Va. 23227.
Interment in Signal Hill Memorial Park.
