Mrs. Stella (LeBeau) Burnett, 96, of Epworth Arms, 350 West Street, Pittsfield, formerly of 17 Pearl Street, Adams, died Saturday morning, November 27, 2010, at Hillcrest Commons in Pittsfield.

She was born in Adams on September 16, 1914, a daughter of the late Arthur and Almina Bourdeau LeBeau. She moved to Cheshire as a child with her family, and attended schools in Adams and Cheshire.

Mrs. Burnett worked as an inspector at the former Jarisch Paper Box Co. in North Adams for thirty-three years, until retiring in July of 1991. Earlier, she had worked at the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Co. in Adams. She was a communicant of the former Parish of Notre Dame and St. Thomas Aquinas, Adams.

Her husband, Elansford A. Burnett, whom she married on September 4, 1933, died April 6, 1993.

She is survived by four grandchildren, Judith Jozefiak, MD, and her husband, Alfred Leal, MD, of Carlisle, Pennsylvania; Ellen Kelly and her husband, John, of Pittsfield; Shawn Burnett of White River Junction, Vermont; and Brian Burnett and his wife, Nicole, of Barre, Vermont; three great-grandchildren, Brenna and Shea Kelly of Pittsfield, and Brandi Burnett of Barre, Vermont; one brother, Lawrence LeBeau of Adams; her son-in-law, John Jozefiak, of Adams; her daughter-in-law, Candy Burnett, of Vershire, Vermont; and several nieces, nephews. grand-nieces, and grand-nephews. Her daughter, Anita Jozefiak, died September 22, 1995; and her son, Michael Burnett, died July 4, 2001. She was predeceased by her sisters, Almina Paquette and Yvonne Maslak; and by her brothers, Arthur, Russell, Wilson, Albert, and Noel LeBeau.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. from the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac Street, Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. in the Parish Church of Pope John Paul the Great, Adams, celebrated by Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, Pastor.
Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home.
