WILLIAMS, DOROTHY ANN, 86, of Louisville, passed away Friday, May 1, 2009.

She was the former Dorothy Burkhead, born in Hardin County, KY. Dorothy was a most loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who devoted her life to her family. She retired from Philip Morris and was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester C. Williams; and sister, Leona Litsey.

She is survived by her four daughters, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her four sisters, a brother, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2009, at St. Denis Catholic Church, 4205 Cane Run Road, with entombment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be noon-8 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2009, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Mass of the Air. The family wishes to thank the Palliative care staff at Baptist Hospital East for their kindness.
