Gladys B. Adams

Frankfort-Services for Gladys Burkhart Adams, 86, formerly of Buttimer Ave., will be Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home.

She died Saturday, March 24, 2007, following a long illness. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Woodford Co.

A native of Leslie Co., she was born October 22, 1920, and was a homemaker and a cook for White Light Rest. She was a member of Fellowship Holiness Church.

She is survived by three sons, Kyle Wells, TN, Kenneth Wells and Bill Wells, both of Frankfort; four daughters, Ruth Pigman, Hazard, Ky, Lula E. Downs, Nola Killen and Wanda F. Dodson, all of Frankfort; two sisters, Mallie Denny, Burgin, KY, and Mackie McClements, Lexington; nineteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren.

She was the widow of James F. Adams and was the daughter of the late James and Cora Day Burkhart.

Rev. David Rayborn will officiate.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Friends may call Monday, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home.
