Gloria Ann Gibbs (nee Burkett) 50, passed away Thursday, February 25, 1993.
She moved to Babson Park 21 years ago from Dade City. She has been a member of First Christian Church of Lake Wales since July 30, 1989, when she was baptized into Christ. She was also the secretary at First Christian Church for almost 6 years and was a blessing to all who knew her. Her love and friendship will be sorely missed.
Gloria is survived by her husband, Richard A. Gibbs of Babson Park, a son, Stephen S. Gibbs of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, and a brother, William P. Burkett, Jr., of Dade City, Florida.
Funeral services to be held on Saturday, February 27, 1993 at 10:00am in the First Christian Church with Mr. Robert Miller and Mr. Chet Tokar officiating. Interment at the Lake Wales Cemetery. Arrangements by Johnson Funeral Home, 322 North Scenic Highway, Lake Wales, Florida.
