Mrs. Ho Nora Barrett, a resident of 223 Kirby Street of this city, passed away April 13 in McMinnville. She had been an active member of the Catholic church and a member of the Altar Society. Born June 11, 1863, she came to the United States from Ireland in 1888 and soon after her arrival in this country she was married to John Barrett. He died in 1930.
Surviving are one son, John B. Barrett, Amity; five daughters, Mrs. Catherine Luttropp, Dallas, Mrs. Nora Windishar, Salem, Mrs. Agnes Windishar, McMinnville, Mrs. Theresa Burns, Seattle, Mrs. Frances Turner, Willamina; three sisters, Mrs. Catherine Flynn, Inglewood, Calif., and two sisters in Ireland; and 12 grandchildren.
Recitation of the Rosary was read in the Macy and Son Funeral chapel, April 15 at 8:00 p.m. and funeral services were held April 16 at 9:00 a.m. at the St. James church. Father Hermans officiated at the service and interment was in the St. James cemetery.
