Elias Ignatius Burke, newborn infant son of Sean R. and Nicole (Duggan) Burke of Ridgefield, died on Monday afternoon, June 15, 2009 at Danbury Hospital. He is also survived by paternal grandparents, Ursula and Robert Burke of New Fairfield; his maternal grandparents, James and Patricia Duggan of Ridgefield; an uncle, Brendan Burke; an aunt, Shannon Duggan and several cousins as well. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11am in Sacred Heart Church, Georgetown. Burial will follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, No. Tarrytown, NY. There will be no calling hours. Contributions may be made to the March of Dimes, CT Chapter, 867 Main St., Manchester, CT 06040 or to the Trisomy 18 Foundation, 4491 Cheshire Plaza Station, Suite 157, Dale City, VA 22193. Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield is in charge of arrangements.
