Born in Abonita, Puerto Rico, he lived in Hammonton since the age of 12 and was a 1985 graduate of Hammonton High School. He was a lead foreman for Ocean Yachts for over 14 years and was also employed at Mike's Auto Body.
Predeceased by his father Alfredo Burgos, survivors include his children Alfredo, Anthony and Erika Burgos, his mother Antonia Burgos and his sister Yolanda and her husband Robert Holleran. Affectionately known as "papa-candy" to his grand-children Damion Philippe, Aaliyah and Amiah Gonzalez. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing at Marinella Funeral Home 102 n. Third St. Hammonton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish St. Joseph Church Egg Harbor Rd. and Park Avenue Hammonton. Burial in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Hammonton.
