Graveside service for Bobbie Jo Branham age 86 of Grandfield will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Les Banks officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Mrs. Branham passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012, at her home in Grandfield.
Bobbie Jo (Burgess) Branham was born July 27, 1925, at Vernon, Texas to John and Effie (Collins) Burgess. She attended school in Wichita Falls, Texas. She later worked as a security officer for Titche's Department Store in Dallas. On March 5, 1960, she and Joseph William Branham were united in marriage at Wichita Falls, Texas. He preceded her in death on June 10, 2003.
Survivors include three daughters, Lutricia Barker of Grandfield, Karen Walker and her husband Danny of Jasper, Texas and Linda Sandiford and her husband Ray Weis of Dallas, Texas; three sons, Dwayne and John Terry both of Dallas, Texas and Doug Branham and his wife Phyllis of Loveland; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and two sisters.
