On April 28, 1909, she was united in marriage to Charles E. Sentney. No children were born of this union. She was a member of the Forest City Methodist Church where she was active for many years until her health began to fail.
Nettie, as she was affectionately known to her family and friends, was a lifelong resident of Forest City and she leaves many friends to mourn her passing. She was ever kind and gentle, being mother and friend to anyone in need.
She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Sentney of the home; a niece, Mrs. Annette Jackson of Hopkins, Mo.; two nephews, William A. Crowe of Ellinwood, Kans., and Louis Pinkston of St. Joseph."
