Shirley Burgess Bousfield, age 80, passed away Feb. 23, 2002 in Westminster, Colorado.

Born September 8, 1921 in View, Idaho to Charles Leslie Burgess and Olive Edith McBride Burgess. She was raised and attended public schools in Los Angeles, California and married William Harold Bousfield April 4, 1941 in the St. George LDS Temple. Her interests included sewing and art. She was an avid genealogist and was proud of her pioneer ancestors.

She was preceded in death by her husband William and her grandson Johnny and is survived by her three sons: Bill Bousfield of Huntington Beach, California (wife Coreen), Ken Bousfield of Sandy, Utah (wife Gail) and Richard Bousfield of Denver, Colorado (wife Leslie), 13 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for the family will be held Sat., March 2, 2002 at 11 a.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 10600 S. 1700 E., Sandy, Utah.
