Steve Allan Burford, 51, died Thursday, August 23, 2007. Services at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 28 at Thyatira Church of Christ in Senatobia, MS. Interment will be in Thyatira Cemetery in Senatobia, MS. Born February 1, 1956 in Memphis, TN, to S. Joe and Clara Frances Bishop Burford. Mr. Burford was a Member C.P.A. with Financial Stratgey Group of Memphis, TN. He Graduated from Independence High School in 1973. Following high school he attended and graduated from Northwest Junior College in Senatobia, MS. in 1975. Mr. Burford continued his education at The University of Mississippi where he received a B.A. in Mathematics in 1977. Later, he went on to Memphis State University and received his Masters Degree in Tax Accounting in 1987. Mr. Burford was a member of Ross Road Church of Christ in Memphis, TN. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Waldrip Burford of Collierville, TN; parents, Joe and Clara Bishop Burford of Coldwater, MS; two brothers, Bernard Burford of Courtland, MS and Randal Burford of Summertown, TN. He was preceded in death by one brother, Lynn Burford. Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Agape of Memphis, TN and Memphis Zoo.
