Granbury Hood County News Tablet, Granbury, Texas, Thursday, March 26, 1970, Page 1, Col. 2: Services Held Wednesday For Clarence Burdine. Clarence F. Burdine, 27, passed away Tuesday March 24, 1970 in the Granbury General Hospital after a lengthy Illness. He was born June 25, 1892 in Tupelo, Miss. Prior to moving to Granbury eight years ago, he lived in Fort Worth. He was a registered LVN and was employed at the U.S. Public Health Hospital of Fort Worth.

Mr. Burdine married Cordia Ella Moore June 9, 1966. He was a faithful member of the Church of Christ and member of Tarrant Masonic Lodge No. 942. He is survived by his wife, Cordia, sons, C. B. and Johnnie of Fort Worth, Carl Burdine of Raytown; one step son, L. W. Moore of Granbury; daughter, Mrs. Evalyne Brigman of Ft. Worth; step-daughter, Mrs. Ima Jean Neely of Ft. Worth; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Margaret Spridling of Port Lavaca.

Services were held Wednesday March 25, 1970, 2:00 p.m. in the Granbury Church of Christ. Minister Lloyd Frederick officiating, assisted by Jerrel Neely in Waldo, Arkansas.

Masonic graveside service was held at 4:00 p.m. at Moore Memorial Gardens at Arlington. Pallbearers were Frank and Leslie Holly, Tommy Brisco, R. F. Parkinson, Jr., Ronnie Parkinson and Lee Moore. Martin's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
