MONTROSE--Ernest L. Burtdette Jr., a native of Birmingham and a resident of Montrose, died Friday, Aug. 27, 1999. He was 81.
He is survived by his wife, Florence F. Burdette of Montrose; one son, Ernest L. Burdette III of Pass Christian, Miss.; one sister, Dorothy Walsh of birmingham; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. today at Saint Paul's Episcopal Church in Daphne. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
The family suggests any memorial donations be made to a charity of choice. Cremation arrangements are by Fairhope Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. in Fairhope.
