Nancy B. Bork, 76, of West Grove, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2009, at Jenners Pond, West Grove.
She was the wife of John W. Bork, Jr., with whom she shared 52 years of marriage.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Arthur L. and Anna Vogt Burdett.
She was an elementary school teacher for the Oxford Area School District for 15 years, retiring in 1994.
She was a graduate of Bartram High School in Southwest Philadelphia.
She earned a bachelor's degree from West Chester University and a master's degree in education from the University of Pennsylvania.
She was a member of the Manor Presbyterian Church in Cochranville and the National Education Association.
Mrs. Bork enjoyed traveling, sewing, doing crafts and being with her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Gary E. Bork and his wife, Pam, of Harrisburg, and Eric P. Bork of New York, N.Y.; one daughter, Leslie A. Pellini and her husband, Alan, of Kennett Square; one brother, Richard Burdett of Upper Darby; and six grandchildren.
You are invited to visit with her family and friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, at Manor Presbyterian Church, 505 Street Road, Cochranville. Her funeral service will follow at 2 at the church. Burial will be in Faggs Manor Cemetery, Cochranville.
