She is survived by four sons, Alexander Burden Jr. of St. Louis, Harvey L. Burden of Bragg City and James and Willie Frank Burden, both of Wardell; Six daughters, Dasie Robinson of Alton, Ill., Essie Hurt of Chicago, Clara Allen and Marie Battle, both of Dayton, Ohio, and Mary A. Mays and Joyce Burden, both of Wardell; Two brothers, Robert Ross Jr. of St. Louis and T.B. Ross of Hermondale: Four sisters, Ida Miller of Gobler, Maggie Robinson of Grenada, and Mamie Starks, Minnie Burkes and Ardella Harper, all of Chicago; Thirty-six grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and two great-great-gradchildren.
Services were Jan. 17 at St. Paul M.B. Church, the Rev. Emmanuel Loftron officiating, with burial in Homestown Cemetery, Jimmy Osburn Funeral Home of Wardell in charge.
