Mrs.Clark Bowers,Wife of Ex-Judge in Warren
Mrs.Helen B.Bowers,79,of 39 N.Lincoln Ave.,Washington,N.J.,died yesterday at her home after a long illness.She was the wife of Clark C.Bowers,Sr.,former Warren County Judge.Born in Washington,she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Louise Christine Burd.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Washington and its WSCS.She was past president of the Washington Senior Woman's Club and New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs,10th Didtric,and a member of the American Advocate Council 64,Sons and Daughters of Liberty of Washington and Washington Chapter 136,Order of Easton Star.
Survivors include a son,Clark C.Jr.,Washington:three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.A daughter,Mrs.Glenda Bry-Nildsen,died in 1958.The funeral will be held ar 2 p.m.Wednesday at her home.Interment will be in Washington Cemetery,Arrangements were made by the DeVoe Funeral Service Washington.
