Virginia Burba Bryant, 81, of Canmer, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013, at her residence.

She was born March 12, 1932, in LaRue County, to Roscoe and Lou Ella Mae (Jenkins) Burba. She was a housewife and a member of Bonnieville Church of God of Prophecy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 58 years, one month and 23 days, Russell Bryant; five sisters, Elizabeth Jenkins, Edna Parrott, Barbara Hornback, Ruth Jean Bradley and Peggy Bird; and two brothers, Warren Burba (Red) and Roscoe Burba (Jr.).

She is survived by four sons, James (Brenda) Bryant of Canmer; Kelvin (Tammy) Bryant of Rowletts, Randy (Lonia) Bryant of Upton and Jack (Twyinia) Bryant of Canmer; a daughter-in-law, Pamela Green of Rowletts; two brothers, Paul (Lois) Burba of Cecilia and Marvin (Julia) Burba of Panama Beach, Fla.; 13 grandchildren, Brandie Matthews (Alan) of Canmer, Jeremy Bryant of Horsecave, Jessica Jaggers of Glasgow, Daniel Bryant (Casey) of Knoxville, Brad Bryant (Nicole) of Louisville, Autumn Adams of Horse Cave, Mae Bryant of Canmer, Derrick Bryant of Munfordville, Matthew Bryant (Kimberly) of Munfordville, Austin Nieten (Mariah) of Munfordville, Aaron Nieten of Rowletts, Josh Crump (Beth) of Munfordville and Jonathon Crump (Nickki) of Glasgow; 14 great-grandchildren, Desera Bryant, Saydie Jaggers, Landon Bryant, Casey Bryant, Mason Jaggers, Corbin Adams, Aniyah Nieten, Landon Harlon, Joshua Dan Crump, John Michael Crump, Jake Ryan Crump, Lauren Blair, Adam Crump, Alex Crump and three more great-grandchildren on the way; several nieces and nephews; and close friend Danny Walters.
