Dayne was the son of Robert E. and Gladys A. (Range) Bupp. He was actually born in Pleasant Valley near Elliotsburg. He graduated from Green Park Union High School and was employed by Lear Corporation, Carlisle, for 35 years, retiring in 2005. He is survived by a daughter, Niki J. Alicea of Harrisburg, and her mother, Lynda of Shermand Dale; a granddaughter--Lynsey N. Alicea, and a son in-law Freddy Alicea of Harrisburg; two sisters--Evelyn J. Reisinger, Landisburg; Sue L. Myers of Shermans Dale; Three brothers; Ezra D. Bupp, Elliotsburg, Leonard L. Bupp, Landisburg, and Monty V. Bupp, Mathias, West Virginia. An avid sports fan, Dayne spent his life time rooting for the L.A. Dodgers and the N.Y. Giants. He loved spending time with his daughter and granddaughter. He also injoyed spending time in the outdoors and he loved animals.
