Lloyd W. Bunting "Red", age 79, passed away peacefully at his home Friday, October 30, 2009.
He was born on January 24, 1930 to the late Lloyd W. Sr. and Pearl C. (Ryan) Bunting in Akron, Ohio.
Red married Sandi S. Koepke, she survives, in March of 1986 and they were able to travel and enrich each other's lives creating many happy memories.
Red is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Bob) Jordan, of Petersburg, MI and Heather (Ken) Welch-Caligiuri, of Findlay, OH; a sister, Wilberta (Ed) MacMann, of Los Alamos, NM; a daughter-in-law, Judy Bunting; 11 grandchildren, Brad (Amy) Jordan, Stacey (Ben) Smith, Shayle, Alyssen, and Kelsey Welch, Jeanie (Danny) Miller, April (Scott) Smith, Marinda (David) Mircinkowski, Janet (Jim) Walker, Janeen (Paul) Galati, and J.J. (Bonnie) Mazza; and seventeen great-grand-children.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Michael (Cindy) Bunting and Patrick (Judy) Bunting; and two sisters, Florence (Ed) Kocinski and Jean Marie (James) Wood.
Red worked at McCoy's service, City Machine and Tool and Henzler Manufacturing in Toledo, OH. He then moved to Findlay to work for P & A Industries in Findlay, OH. Red was a journey-man machinist and journey-man machine repair retiring from P & A Industries in 1999.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren as they were growing up.
He was a kind and generous hard working man willing to help anyone who needed him. He will be forever loved and greatly missed.
A private celebration of his life for the family will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at First Presbyterian Church on South Main Street, Findlay.
