A.W. Buntin, Civil War Veteran Dies.

Albert W. Buntin, 87-year-old veteran of the Civil War, died at 11:50 o'clock Saturday night in his home, 410 North Maple street.

Mr. Buntin, who was born June 6, 1846, at Mechanicsburg, Ind., had lived here twenty-two years. He was a retired farmer.

Surviving relatives are four sons, W.A., and J.A. Buntin of Coffeyville, W.E. Buntin of Seattle, Wash., and A.E. Buntin of Independence; a daughter, Mrs. R. R. Oglesbee, of Spokane, Wash. [#61796048], and a brother, Jasper T. Buntin of Compton, Calif. [#88359931]

Mrs. A.W. Buntin died here October 14, 1930.

The body was removed to the Skinner funeral home, pending completion of arrangements for services. Mrs. Oglesbee and W.E. Buntin started here from their respective homes this morning, and are expected to arrive Wednesday. It was thought today that the funeral would not be held before Thursday.
