Evelyn "Bluey" Bungo, 92, of Parma, Ohio and formerly of Smoke Run, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014 at Pleasantview Care Center, Parma.
She was born Feb. 21, 1922 in Smoke Run, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Kuzitsky) Bungo.
Ms. Bungo worked as a sales clerk at various retail stores in Cleveland, at General Electric in Cleveland and Bell Telephone in Pittsburgh.
She is survived by nieces and nephews, Gary Manke and his wife, Terry of Parma, John Bungo and his wife, Donna of Harrisburg, Patricia McClinsey and her husband, Ronald of St. Marys, Michael Bungo and his wife, Michelle Sidaway of Aurora and Kathleen Novak and her husband, Frank of Mantua and a niece-in-law, Christine Bungo of Twinsburg.
Ms. Bungo was the last of her generation having been preceded in death by parents; three sisters, Mary Manke, Catherine Koval and Ann Bungo; four brothers, Henry
Bungo, Wasco Bungo, John Bungo, Jr and Mike Bungo; and an infant sibling.
Friends will be received Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 4-8 pm and Thursday, Nov. 13, from 9-10 a.m. at the Kruise Funeral Home Inc., Ramey.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 13, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Father Zab Amar officiating.
Interment will be in the Beulah Cemetery, Ramey.
